Mrs. Smithson, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has a BSW from Radford University and a MSW from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Mrs.  Smithson has over 20 years experience in the mental health and substance abuse field. She has worked at inpatient and outpatient clinics, community service boards and private practice.

Mrs. Smithson works with older teenagers and adults with issues of depression, anxiety, codependency and post traumatic stress. She works with individuals, families and couples, including gay and lesbian issues.
