Mrs. Garber, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker has a BS in Psychology-Child Life from Syracuse University and received her Masters in Social Work from Syracuse University as well.
Mrs. Garber has over 15 years experience working in a variety of settings including not for profits, schools, the military, and private practice.
Mrs. Garber works with children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing issues that include depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorders, abuse, stress, and issues related to life-cycle transitions.
Mrs. Garber approaches her clients from a strengths based model that focuses on the uniqueness of each individual she works with. The methods utilized include cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused modalities, play therapy, and client centered therapies. She works with individuals, families and couples.
